Great Big Green Week: Zine Making Letters to Tomorrow
Zine-Making at The Refill — Letters to Tomorrow - Hope for the Future
📅 Sunday 22nd June | 🕝 2.30pm – 5.00pm | 📍The Refill Leighton Buzzard
As part of Great Big Green Week, join us for an inspiring afternoon of creative zine-making centred around the theme "Letters to Tomorrow" – imagining the future we want and the voices we want to send forward.
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, we’ll be creating personal mini-magazines (zines) that take the shape of letters: to future generations, to the Earth, to our future selves, or to the world we hope to build.
✨ No experience needed – zines are handmade booklets filled with whatever you like: words, images, collages, poems, ideas, rants, or quiet reflections. They’re a brilliant tool for expression, storytelling, and gentle activism.
What’s included:
– All materials provided, including a goodie bag of collage bits, pre-folded zines, and creative prompts
– A cosy space for slowing down, connecting, and exploring your voice
– Tea, cake, and feel-good creative energy
– A chance to reflect on climate action in a personal, meaningful way
Suitable for adults and older teens. Spaces are limited – booking essential.
Let’s gather, imagine, and create the kind of tomorrow we want to see – one zine at a time.
