Creative Manifesto: Zine Making Workshop
Come make your own Creative Manifesto!
📅 Sunday 28th June | 🕝 10.00am – 12.30pm | 📍The Refill Leighton Buzzard
Do you have a creative practice that needs a boost or want to live a more creative life?
In this age the endless online scroll, how do you make work that feels authentically you?
Are you stuck in perfectionist procrastination?
Maybe you need a Creative Manifesto! Your own personal guidebook for getting creative and actually making things IRL.
This workshop is a combo of journal exercises to find your creative voice, work out what matters to you, and discover your ten personal rules for creativity.
Then you'll turn that into a zine - your own handmade Creative Manifesto. Whether that's a declaration for your creative work, a blueprint for a more playful life, or just a reminder of who you are when you're not thinking about your to-do list.
When AI can generate almost anything, there's something radical about making something by hand, in your own words, that is entirely yours.
Zines (short for magazines or fanzines) are small, handmade booklets you can fill with anything – art, writing, collages, poetry, thoughts, photos, doodles, recipes… anything that speaks to you. They’re a brilliant way to slow down, get creative, and express yourself without pressure or rules.
✨ What’s included:
– All materials provided
– Friendly guidance if you're new to zines
– Tea and coffee, sweet treats, and a welcoming atmosphere
Suitable for adults and older teens – no experience needed. Just book your spot and come as you are.
